All dogs should have good dog collars. Not only are dogs collars indispensable for walking and exercising dogs, but also very useful for returning and re-claiming lost dogs. You can even get a collars for your dog that has her name and phone number stiched right into the fabric. Orvis has an example, but there are many more!

These dogs are posted as a courtesy to the shelter or rescue organization that has the dog. They are NOT being placed through SFSR, so SFSR maintains no responsibility for these dogs or its actions. SFSR has not evaluated the dog and does not know anything about the dog's temperament, behavior, etc. Please ask the responsible shelter or rescue organization about the dog and about the appropriateness of this dog for your family.
NATASHA
Natasha is a 16 year old Samoyed. She is in great health, with the exception of cataracts so she is unable to see. She enjoys walks and being around people. She is a very gentle and quiet pet. Her owners have had her since she was a puppy but sadly must find her a new home due to an overseas move to Hong Kong that will not permit them to bring her. She would make a wonderful addition to someone seeking a loyal and gentle companion. Natasha is an indoor dog and is house trained. She can manage stairs if someone leads her up and down, though she prefers to be on the bottom level. She is very good with children, as her previous owners have a 2 and 5 yar old, as well as cats and other dogs. Click here to download a PDF with more photos of Natasha.
