San Francisco Samoyed Rescue is an IRS 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Your donations to us are 100% tax deductible. Simply click the PayPal button at the right to donate using your major credit card or, if you prefer, send a check to us. Please inform us if you would like a receipt and where we should send it.
SFSR's non-profit status can be verified on the web site of the Internal Revenue Service. On the IRS site, click on Search Now in the middle. Enter 'Samoyed Rescue' for the name, 'San Carlos' for the city, and 'CA' for the state, and there you will find us. The web site lists any legitimate, non-profit dog rescue organization as well.
You may be surprised to learn of the various costs involved in the dog rescue process. Between the time we accept the surrendered Samoyed to the time we find an appropriate home there are vet expenses (spaying and neutering, shots, other medical treatments), fostering expenses, travel expenses and behavior evaluation expenses.
Our funds come mainly from donations from generous caring people like you, but adoption fees and sales of SFSR merchandise also help offset our operating expenses.
