Every year we host a picnic gathering to celebrate Samoyeds.

Meet other Samoyed owners in Northern California,
learn about caring for Samoyeds, and have a great time!
 

Join us for our annual community gathering and family reunion.

If you’ve been to a picnic in the past, you know what a great time they are!

 

Last year, at least 50 Samoyeds and their humans came out to play.

We’ll have a raffle, grooming demo, Canicross demo, BBQ,
playgroup ice pool, and more!

 

Come show your support for the oldest Samoyed rescue in the country. Everyone is welcome!​​

San Francisco Samoyed Rescue is an all-volunteer-run nonprofit that has been rescuing and rehoming Samoyed dogs in the Bay Area since 1974! Together, we can do even more. Interested in lending a hand? We’re always looking for volunteers to help our dedicated team. And because we’re entirely foster-based, foster homes are the backbone of our rescue.
